About Us

Originally developed in 1979 on an IBM System 38, the software was then ported to an IBM System 36 and AS/400 in the mid 80s and installed at several large customers like Coca Cola, GTE, and Bank of America. Then it was completely rewritten in Assembler on the Betrieve database on a Novel network running DOS in 1987. It was at this point that the new S2000 DOS introduced the now famous DBoard (an electronic dispatch board). This made it very easy for office personnel to quickly interact on the phone with customers and field technicians.

In 1997 Sean Hoyt of Computer Processing purchased all rights to the S2000DOS network software. In 1998 the first True Windows software, S2000WIN, for dispatching was installed. That first Windows customer is still using S2000WIN today.

By the year 2000 Computer Processing had a fully operational modular service software doing most of what a service company would do. In 2003 the company changed its name to S2000 Field Service Solutions, LLC to better reflect what it does.

S2000WIN software continued to grow until today we have 470+ customers in 46 states, 4 provinces and 7 countries. Product users range from companies with 2 techs to ones with over 100 service trucks. We estimate that S2000 daily dispatches and tracks over 25,000 work orders daily which can now be fully integrated electronically from the remote service truck to the office finincials.

In September of 2011 Davis Business Solutions, Inc. near Chicago purchased all rights to the S2000 Field Service Solutions, LLC software company and Sean Hoyt became an independent sales dealer working with his wholly owned LLC S2000 Service Software.

Sean Hoyt, Principal
Sean has a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He first entered the computer industry in 1968 with IBM in sales. He then formed his own company in the early 70s and designed, programmed and implemented a complete accounting system for a CPA firm and a small hospital. In the 80s he managed a sales force of 18 and sold into the food broker vertical market. Sean owned and operated a custom software firm for eight years before beginning Computer PROcessing in1989. He grew up in Ohio where he still has family ties. He just moved from New Mexico to Hilton Head, SC. He has four children and seven grandchildren.

Randy Cherry, Training and Development Associate
Randy Cherry has over thirty years experience in the Mechanical Contracting Industry. In 2000 after owning and operating a mechanical contracting business for seventeen years he had the opportunity to work for one of S2000's first customers and implement their S2000 DOS to WIN conversion. In 2006 he became an employee of S2000. In 2008 he started the RGC Group, LLC focusing on Management and Software Consulting and Process and Procedure Analysis, including software sales, custom Crystal Reports, file conversions, onsite consulting/training, web training and classroom training.

Janice Finkle, Technical Support/ Training Associate
Janice received her BA Degree from Wilmington College in Ohio in 1993 and has since gained experience in many areas of both HVAC and Plumbing…. working with inventory control, purchasing, dispatch, and in office management. She has over 10 years experience in customer service. Janice joined the s2000win staff during a move from Ohio in early 1999 where she had worked for an HVAC company in Cincinnati utilizing S2000win software.

Bill Borchert, Development Associate
Bill has over 25 years experience in the computer business including extensive system design and programming experience. Bill has an industrial Engineering Degree from the University of Arkansas and he held several management positions while working for SSI. He was head of development and support for the PCS2000 product, when it was owned by SSI in Kansas City. Today he does all documentation and reports for the S2000WIN product and assists in support along with doing hundreds of custom reports using Crystal Reports for our customers.

Linda Kontur,
Lead accounting and billing.
Linda does all of our accounting and billing for our company utilizing the S2000 software to track all sales leads, process installation jobs, do billing and prepare S2000 financial statements. Linda has an accounting degree from John Carroll University and over 10 years of experience with S2000 including the initial SETUP of several of our customers.

Brue Hoyt, Columbus office, Webmaster. Brue is an Elementary school teacher with degrees in French from Ohio State and Education from Ashland University.
